kenko AI healthcare made fun
earn rewards for your sleep, exercise, and nutrition
most wearables hand you charts and leave you to interpret your own body. kenko starts somewhere else: a ring and a strap that model hormonal patterns and estimate sleep stages from wearable and cycle data, then explain them in plain sentences.
and because knowing is only half of it, kenko rewards you. finish your daily goals and you earn redeemable points and collectible cards, available through employers and health plans.
kenko is one of my clients in japan, a partnership through startup ui. the surfaces on this page are my work: the product and its card system, the hormone and sleep screens, and the website itself.

finish goals, collect the day
you pick the goals and the intensity: gentle, steady, or strong. every one you finish pays out points and mints a card, and longer streaks level the art up through five tiers, all the way to legendary.
it turns a health app's hardest problem, coming back tomorrow, into something you actually want to collect.

your hormones, explained
kenko models estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and cortisol from the ring and your cycle, then explains where each sits against its peak, in plain words, built for every body.
the design job here was restraint: showing a modelled signal honestly, presenting every hormone figure as an estimate, and separating what is sensed from what is inferred.

your night, told as a story
kenko presents estimated sleep stages and trends each night, and every figure arrives already explained, in one sentence.

the day, re-timed around you
your best hours move with your hormones. kenko suggests windows when focus, food, movement, and rest may come easiest, then builds the day around them: morning light, first meal, deep work, wind down.

one app, two wearables
the ring disappears on your finger; the strap sits light on your wrist. either way kenko senses continuously, models hormonal patterns and estimated sleep stages, and tells you what they mean.

kenko is a general-wellness product: its hormone and sleep figures are estimates for lifestyle guidance, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.
