keyper simplifying property ownership in dubai
designing the app where owners and tenants run a lease
keyper is a dubai proptech building a better way to rent and manage property, for both sides of the lease.
for tenants: split a year's rent into 12 card instalments with rent now pay later, drop the cheque book, and keep earning bank reward points while you pay.
for owners: cash out a tenant's outstanding rent digitally, track ROI and live property valuations, watch developments progress, and buy, sell, or lease with a dedicated relationship manager.
i worked mainly on the app's UX and UI: the screens where owners and tenants actually run a lease. the owner's portfolio and property views, live valuations, the rent now pay later flow, and the moment that sells the whole product: cash out a tenant's outstanding rent and receive it digitally.
the hard part was making two very different jobs, owning and renting, feel like one calm product, in a market where both sides were used to paperwork and cheques.

brand context
the identity i designed within came from a 2024 brand uplift by an external agency, not from me. it set the emblem and wordmark, a navy-led palette built on dark, main, and light gradients, and a bilingual type system pairing everett with IBM plex sans arabic: sharp lines and organic curves in english, clean geometry in arabic.
i mention it because it shaped every screen: the app work lives inside this system.

where it landed
keyper now holds AED 8.81B in property value on the platform, AED 45M of annual processed rent, and the trust of 1,413 property owners.
along the way it raised $34M in combined equity and sukuk financing, was recognised as a future 100 company, and won property investment solution of the year.
