saving 15% on restaurants' labor costs with schedex
product design, website, brand identity, no-code

Origins
avo manjerian spent years working in restaurants in beirut, and kept running into the same problem: shift scheduling and employee management were chaotic, manual, and expensive. he founded schedex to fix it.
butlers beach club in batroun — like most of lebanon's restaurant sector — struggled to keep labor costs under control. schedex transformed the chaotic nature of scheduling, reducing labor costs by 15% at butlers and other restaurants.
The problem
as the platform grew, it became overly complex. new restaurants faced a steep learning curve, and every onboarding required comprehensive, hands-on training. the product worked — but it didn't scale.

The redesign
i joined to lead a comprehensive overhaul: simplifying the platform on a foundation of untitledUI as the design system, modernizing the brand, and building an engaging framer landing page.
the rationale was simple — if the product explains itself, restaurants can adopt it independently, without training dependencies.

Results
restaurants across lebanon, cyprus, and singapore now manage labor and staff scheduling with schedex — onboarding themselves, saving on labor costs, and spending their time on service instead of spreadsheets.
